A 220t mobile crane was used to offload the boilers onto a temporary platform. From there, each boiler was pulled into the plant room using a Tirfor winch, skated into position and carefully jacked into its final location.

The operation also involved tandem-lifting two chimney sections before stacking and installing them. Finally, three thermal stores were uprighted and accurately positioned on their plinths.

Careful planning and coordination ensured every item was moved and installed safely and efficiently.
