Think Lifting Ltd was tasked with planning and delivering a major lifting operation involving the replacement of plant equipment within a rooftop plant area. The project required detailed coordination, including arranging a road closure, planning the crane positions and carefully sequencing each stage of the lifting operation.

A 450-tonne crane, fitted with a 54-metre luffing jib, was used to remove the redundant plant from the roof and lift the new equipment into position. A 120-tonne crane was also deployed in support, helping to ensure the operation was completed safely and efficiently.

Despite the challenging location and scale of the lifts, the project was successfully delivered through careful planning, clear communication and close coordination between everyone involved. The new plant was positioned as required, leaving another satisfied customer and another complex lifting operation successfully completed by the Think Lifting team.
